Voice Controlled Car(Micro-Python)

The Android Application is connected to the Bluetooth module (HC-05)present on the Car via Bluetooth. The commands are sent to the car using push buttons or voice commands present on the android application. At the receiving end two dc motors are interfaced to the microcontroller where they are used for the movement of the vehicle. The RF transmitter of the Bluetooth can take either switch press or voice commands which are converted to encoded digital data for the advantage of adequate range (up to 100 meters) from the car. The receiver decodes the data before feeding it to another microcontroller to drive DC motors via motor driver IC for necessary work. This technology has an advantage over long communication range as compared to RF technology. Further the project can be developed using IoT technology where a user can control the car from any corner of the world. Voice recognition uses recordings of human voices, but they do different things with it. Voice recognition stripes out personal differences to detect the words. Speech recognition typically disregards the language and meaning to detect the physical person behind the speech. For our project, if we want to make it user friendly then Voice Recognition is the best methodology to control this car. The proposed topic involves voice recognizing. Voice recognition is the process of capturing spoken words and commands using a microphone or telephone and converting them into a digitally stored set of words. Two factors decide the accuracy of the proposed voice recognition system: Accuracy in detecting the human words and processing those words at the desired speed so that the commands are executed with the least delay.

Book Recommendation System

Book recommendation is created and deployed in this approach of work, which helps in recommending books. Recommendation achieved by the users feedbacks and rating, this is the online which analyse the ratings, comments and reviews of user, negative positive nature of comments using opinion mining. User searching for the interested book will be displayed in top list and also can read feedback given by people about the book or any searched items. Whenever user search for any book from the large data available, he gets confused from the number of displayed item, which one to choose. In that case recommendation helps and displays on the interested items. This is the trustworthy approach, which is used in this project where selection is based on the dataset.

Clustering

This project used clustering as the central idea. A clustering approach is used. Clustering is based on similarity where similar elements are kept in a single group. Likewise similar element, the irrelevant elements are also reside in a group, which is another group, based on similarity value or maximum size of cluster. The clustering approach which is used in our work is K-mean clustering for grouping of similar users. It is the unsupervised and simplest learning algorithm, which simplifies mining work by grouping similar elements forming cluster. This is done using a parameter called K-centroids. Distance between each element is calculated for checking the similarity and forming a single cluster to reside the similar elements, after comparing with K-centroid parameter.

In this project, 6 clusters were made.

The project is made with 2 separate datsets in .csv format taken from Kaggle.

This project is GUI based. The output page has 2 options:

  1. Rate books
  2. Recommend books

The user can chose either according to themselves.

Rate books

In this option, the user can rate books.

Recommend books

In this option the books are recommended to the user, according to their previous readings.

Python programming language is used in the project. We will save the data in the database as well as in pickle format in the file. This project tends to use latest advancements in information technology and provide a CRUD operation. This will help many stakeholders of these firms to quickly do some basic operations instead of doing same manually.

My previous project was shear project project that is Long term tool .This tool is used by wind farm owners who want to know in which location it is going to give best profits.

Suppose A wants to start a wind farm business A is having money but he is not aware of wind speeds at particular location ,so he took help from B (The wind pioneers) wind pioneers uses sensor for every wind station to find the wind speed and wind direction. Here wind pioneers role is to record the data which contain wind speeds and wind directions for every hour.

wind pioneers measuring wind speeds at various heights of sensor like ws_120m,ws_100m. For each minute we have some observations ,for every hour the number of observations will increases ,so it is very large data to deal. so we cannot do manual calculations for analyzing this big data. So here we come up with one tool that is long term tool.

I worked on this project along with team this tool provide you interactive software for performing all the analysis like plots, correlation values, scatter plots for finding relationship between two variables. You can just simply download the files that you are working for. It will going to give you everything in detail.

Here we are taking Reference data as NASA data of past 30 years which contains wind speed and wind direction In order to predict the wind speeds of particular location for next 30 years by making use of linear regression model .

Here we are predicting wind speeds of next 30 years for particular location by taking reference data as NASA data.

We are performing linear model for various time periods 1hr,6hr,1 day,3day,7day,10 day,1 month. Again sometimes your weather file and climate file may be differ with time In order to compensate time period we are using time shifting for reference file.

Chess Game

Implementation of chess in python language in which 2 players can play this game. Using "R" key we can undo this game and "Q" the game ends in between. There is 2 Classes in code.

  1. One is GameState() which will store the positions of the pieces.
  2. It has changePosition() function which will change the position of the pieces as per request.
  3. undoSteps() will undo to the previous state.
  4. availablePositions() will give all the possible moves a piece can move at that position. availablePositions() will call respective functions of pieces like bishopAvailablePositions(), queenAvailablePositions(), etc. Pawn can move in forward direction and in left or right only if opposite color piece is there. For rook, we create directions=((-1,0),(0,-1),(1,0),(0,1)) where each set() represents the direction that piece can move. Similar we use different logic for other pieces as well.
  5. Another Class is Steps() which is used as a data structure to store initial and final positions of rows and columns as well as unique number(unique ID), attacking piece and piece captured.

To get input from user, pygame is used. Whenever user clicks on game window, we get the position, where we clicked, using mouse.get_pos(). Some graphics is also used to make the game more enjoyable.
